Detailing

  • What’s the difference between Detailing and Car wash?

Car washes such as touchless drive thrus or hand washes will deal mainly with the exterior only. A hand wash will be much better than a drive thru, some even doing vacuuming and a wipedown of the dashboard, whereas detailing is much more focused and thorough paying attention to often untouched areas such as doorjambs, wheel wells, rims, etc.

  • Why do you need detailing?

If you enjoy a clean car, as a detailer, I would recommend getting your car detailed once a month. There are other services that detail shops do that car washes won’t such as shampooing, waxing, polishing etc. that would bring your car surfaces back to life!

Shampoo

  • What is Shampoo?

This is getting your car’s interior as clean as it can possibly get. Shampooing is deep cleaning. Here at LivingStar we take pride in our method — involving a 3-step process that other shops don’t do.

Wax

  • Why do you need wax? What does it do?

Wax gives you protection from the elements that cars pick up simply just driving around. There are dirt, dust, and many other various contaminants in the air and you add rain to the mix, combined they act as an adhesive, clinging to your cars surface. A good way to tell if your car needs wax is to spray it with water. If the water beads and falls off, you’re good, however if it does not, you better come in and let us handle that for you. This accumulation of dirt will eventually lead to staining, spotting and eventually rust.
